SO-RT™ Free Running Locking Standoffs

PEM SO-RT™ Free-Running Locking Standoffs feature a self-clinching design, ideal for applications requiring mounting panels or components. When pressed into round holes, these fasteners permanently mount into metal sheets as thin as .025"/0.63mm. Self-clinching standoffs are available with PEM RT free-running locking threads that generate friction proportional to the clamp load induced by tightening the bolted joint. These standoffs improve load distribution across all threads, resist vibrational loosening, and feature locking that remains consistent regardless of on/off cycles.

Automotive Electronics (AE)

PEM Automotive Electronics (AE) feature design-engineered products and solutions for critical applications. As electronics-based systems in vehicles become more complex, high performance and reliability are key. PEM fasteners are lightweight and feature a reduced footprint, less assembly time, and safety-critical reliability. BSO/BSOA/BSOS/BSO4 Series Blind Standoffs

PEM BSO/BSOA/BSOS/BSO4 Series Blind Standoffs are self-clinching standoffs that are made from hardened stainless steel, ideal for clinching into stainless steel sheets. These self-clinching standoffs are pressed into round holes and are mounted permanently into metal sheets as thin as 0.025”/0.63mm. The BSO/BSOA/BSOS/BSO4 standoffs are ideal for applications where mounting, spacing, or stacking of panels, and boards or components are required.
