August 28, 2023 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest electronic components and industrial automation products, announces a new global distribution agreement with Phoenix Mecano, a global leader in the enclosure and industrial component segments. Phoenix Mecano's suite of enclosures and accessories covers a wide array of applications in the electronic, industrial, automotive, medical, safety, measurement, and control sectors.
Phoenix Mecano produces both standard and specialized products, which can be customized to the customer's specific application. Mouser now offers many of these enclosures, including:
- ROSE Polyester standard enclosures provide protection for equipment against certain acids, oils, and fats in food and chemical industries. These robust enclosures are lightweight, high in mechanical strength and impact resistant up to 7J (joules) per EN 60529. ROSE Polyester standard enclosures feature a universal structure suitable for installing terminals and other electronic components, enabling use as a classical terminal enclosure or a distribution enclosure.
- ROSE Aluminum standard enclosures, designed for mechanical engineering and automation technology, offer IP66 ingress protection and fixing options for DIN rails and mounting plates, making them ideal for the installation of electrical and electromechanical components, including buttons, terminals, switching elements, and electronic modules containing PCBs.
- ROSE NoVoTronic electronics enclosures feature an aluminum profile enclosure system with IP65 ingress protection for data, PC, and MCR technology operating in -40°C to +90°C temperature environments. These enclosures are offered in a stylish deep black color with ruby red accents and feature external screw channels to ensure reliable protection of electronics and to prevent metal fragments from damaging highly sensitive electronics during assembly. ROSE NoVoTronic enclosures feature integrated guide grooves that function both as a styling and functional element, for slide-in strips or electromechanical components, with built-in stacking and footing aids to ensure secure connections of multiple enclosures.
- BOPLA Euromas series is a classic industrial enclosure that is available in three different material variants: ABS, polycarbonate and polycarbonate with UL 94 V-0 flame protection. A transparent cover allows a view into the enclosure. Inside the enclosure features large processing areas and versatile mounting options for connectors, switches and keys. Circuit boards can be securely fixed in the base by means of screw domes. The enclosure can also be supplied on request with quick-release fastener screws.
