AP22804/AP22814 Power Distribution Load Switches

Diodes Inc. AP22804/AP22814 Single Channel Power Distribution Load Switches are current limited high-side power switches. The switches are developed for Universal Serial Bus (USB) and other hot-swap applications. The AP22804/AP22814 switches comply with USB standards. Both polarities of Enable input are supported by the AP22804/AP22814 series switches. The single channel switches have fast short-circuited response time for enhanced overall system robustness. In addition, the switches have an integrated output discharge function to provide completely controlled discharging of the output voltage capacitor. The switches supply full protection solution for applications subject to heavy capacitive loads. The AP22804/AP22814 switches offer reverse current blocking, over-current, over-temperature and short-circuit protection, as well as controlled rise time and under-voltage lockout performance.
