The LS1 Communications Processor Family is designed to enable a new class of power-constrained applications by bringing together highly efficient ARM® cores and over twenty years of networking and IP expertise to provide the highest level of integration under 3W. With ECC protection on both L1 and L2 caches, QUICC Engine support, USB 3.0, and a broad range of other peripherals and I/O features, the LS1 family of devices is purpose-built for multicore platforms required to operate more securely, intelligently, and efficiently without sacrificing performance. Outstanding performance and efficiency are achieved by integrating features such as DDR3L and DDRF memory support while staying under 3W.
