Microchip Technology MIC24046 Buck Regulator Evaluation Kit (ADM00810) is a demonstration and development platform for the MIC24046 Synchronous Step-Down Regulator. The pin-programmable MIC24046 is ideal for multiple-voltage rail application environments typically found in computing and telecommunication systems. It can be programmed by pin strapping various parameters, such as output voltage, switching frequency, and current-limit values. The pin-selectable switching frequency, valley-current-mode control technique, high-performance error amplifier, and external compensation allow for the best tradeoffs between high efficiency and the small solution size.The Microchip Technology MIC24046 Buck Regulator Evaluation Kit features a pre-installed MIC24046 in a QFN-20 package. The VIN supply ranges from 4.5V to 19V and the output voltage is pin programmable from 0.7V to 3.3V at 5A. An on-board load transient generator circuit and connections for loop gain measurements are also provided.
