Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EV2665A-QB-00A Evaluation Board is a demonstration and development platform for the MP2665A Single-Cell Li-Ion Battery Charger. The MP2665A is a highly integrated, single-cell Li-ion and Li-polymer battery charger with system power path management. The MP2665A is ideal for space-constrained portable applications. The device takes input power from either an AC adapter or a USB port to supply the system load and charge the battery simultaneously. The MP2665A Charger features pre-charge, constant current (CC) fast charge, constant voltage (CV) regulation, charge termination, and auto-recharge.
The Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EV2665A-QB-00A Evaluation Board features a pre-installed MP2665A in a compact 2.5mm x 3.0mm QFN-12 package. The Evaluation Board features a charger circuit reference design preset to 4.2V for single-cell Li-ion batteries.
The EV2665A-QB-00A Evaluation Board is designed to connect to a PC using the EVKT-USBI2C-02 USB to I2C/PMBus Dongle. The MP2665A Programming Tool software can then be used to view and change the target device's registers.
