Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EV5087A-G-00A Load Switch Evaluation Board demonstrates the MP5087A load switch with 7A load protection covering a 0.5V to 5.5V range. MP5087A, with the soft start function, avoids inrush currents during circuit start-up. Other functions include a programmable soft start time, output discharge function, over-circuit protection (OCP), and thermal shutdown features. The 12-pin QFN (2mm x 2mm) packaged MP5087A provides a very high efficiency, space-saving solution for notebooks, tablets, or other portable device applications.
