NXP Semiconductors MCIMX6SLEVK i.MX 6SoloLite Evaluation Kit

NXP Semiconductors MCIMX6SLEVK i.MX 6SoloLite Evaluation Kit is a flexible, market-focused development platform based on the i.MX 6SoloLite Applications Processor. The i.MX 6SoloLite processors are part of NXP’s EdgeVerse™ edge computing platform. The i.MX 6SoloLite System-on-Chip (SoC) features a high-performance 1GHz Arm Cortex-A9 CPU and integrated E Ink® and Sipix®display controllers to drive current and next-generation electronic paper display (EPD) panels. The CIMX6SLEVK Evaluation Kit enables the EPD and/or LCD or HDMI display, touch control, audio playback, as well as the ability to add WLAN, a 3G modem, or BLUETOOTH® technology. This Evaluation Kit was designed to facilitate software development with the goal of faster time to market through the support of both Linux and Android operating systems.

Murata has partnered with Embedded Artists to integrate Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® into existing NXP i.MX Development Platforms. The i.MX Platforms, based on the Arm® Cortex® cores, are designed to bridge the gap between the performance of Applications Processors and the flexible usability of Microcontrollers (MCUs) without increasing costs or power consumption.

The Murata uSD-M.2 Adapter connects to the uSD slot on the NXP i.MX Platforms, which provides power and WLAN-SDIO. The Murata Adapter provides an M.2 connector, allowing application developers to connect the Embedded Artists Types 1DX, 1MW, 1LV, and 1CX M.2 EVBs, which provide IEEE 802.11/b/g/n and BT/BLE connectivity.
