KYOCERA AVX MnO2 Tantalum Automotive Capacitors are capable of meeting automotive industry specifications for high-temperature capacitors up to +250°C while also meeting requirements for high reliability. KYOCERA AVX's broad range of automotive capable capacitors also meet various demands of operating temperature, process voltage, and reliability for use in different automotive applications from cabin entertainment, through airbags and ABS, to applications directly on the engine.

Automotive Solid Electrolytic Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX Automotive Solid Electrolytic Capacitors feature a range of tantalum, polymer, and niobium oxide capacitors that bring specific and unique features to suit specific application requirements. TKYOCERA AVX conventional tantalum / MnO2 capacitors offer a long lifetime and no wear-out mechanism. Niobium Oxide (OxiCap®) offers extreme stability for low voltage automotive applications, while conductive polymer offers low ESR, benign failure mode, and high voltage ratings.

TRM Professional Multianode Tantalum Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX TRM Professional Multianode Tantalum Capacitors offer a CV range of 4.7μF to 1500μF / 2.5V to 50V and low ESR. The series delivers improved reliability of 0.5%/1khrs, which is twice as better as standard variants. Additional features include a DCL reduction of 25% to 0.0075 CV and multi-anode construction. The D-case capacitors utilize a "mirror" construction that reduces ESL to half. KYOCERA AVX TRM Professional Multianode Tantalum Capacitors withstand higher thermo-mechanical stresses during the assembly process and are 100% surge current tested.
