Newhaven Display TFT (Thin-Film Transistor) Displays and Modules deliver full-color, high-resolution visual performance engineered for modern embedded systems. These displays include TN and IPS technology options, with IPS panels offering wide viewing angles, enhanced color accuracy, and improved outdoor readability. The TFT displays offer touchscreen options, including resistive and capacitive touch panels. These displays are available in sizes ranging from 1.5in to 10.1in, including square, round, and bar-type formats. Typical applications include industrial control systems, medical devices, consumer electronics, IoT dashboards, POS terminals, automotive/transportation, and controls/HVAC/security.

2.4" In-Plan Switching (IPS) TFTs

Newhaven Display 2.4" In-Plan Switching (IPS) TFTs deliver consistent color reproduction at any angle, making it the top choice for applications that require precise, concise information on a smaller display. These TFT displays are small in size and produce high-quality images. The line includes six models offered in two different brightness options: a standard brightness model and a high brightness model with up to 1200cd/m2 that is sunlight readable. These TFTs add brightness options and have two touchscreen options: resistive and capacitive. The 2.4" IPS displays provide additional design improvements, including built-in EMI shielding and a top bezel frame for added protection. These TFTs' interface offers compatibility with Arduino and comes with the same mechanical footprint as the TN display. The 2.4" In-Plan switching TFTs are ideal for industrial, manufacturing, medical, and consumer electronics.

IPS technology TFT Displays

Newhaven Display IPS technology TFT Displays deliver a balanced solution combining enhanced visual performance with long‑term reliability. These displays offer superior viewing angle stability compared to standard TN technology, typically supporting wide horizontal and vertical viewing angles. The IPS technology TFT displays offer improved color accuracy, making them suitable for graphical interfaces, data visualization, and applications that require consistent image quality. These IPS TFT displays feature high-luminance backlights, making them inherently sunlight-readable. Typical applications include industrial HMIs, medical diagnostic equipment, laboratory instrumentation, and embedded systems requiring high readability and color consistency.
