2014 ECIA Marketing Awards

Mouser Electronics, Inc., the global authorized distributor with the newest semiconductors and electronic components, congratulates its Marketing Team for winning several top Electronics Choice Industry Awards from the Electronic Components Industry Association (ECIA) at the ECIA's annual executive conference on October 27 in Chicago.


The ECIA, the industry's leading non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the expanding needs and interests of the authorized electronics supply chain, honored Mouser's Marketing Team for its creativity in multiple areas.


The Mouser team won Best Brand/Image Digital for "It's Hip to Be Square" advertising campaign featuring a striking graphic of the newest semiconductor chips. Mouser received both the ECIA and the People's Choice Awards for Best Video Production for its "What is MultiSIM BLUE" video on the new free circuit design tool for engineers. Also earning the People's Choice Award for Best Co-Op Marketing were Mouser's marketing campaigns for the newest products of its valued supplier partners Philips Lumileds and TE Connectiviity. Mouser's internal communications newsletter for employees, Momentum, won the top award from ECIA for Best Internal Branding and Communications. Finally, Mouser received the for its support of STEM-related educational programs, including FIRST® Robotics.

The Annual ECIA Marketing Awards present an opportunity to gain national recognition for marketing excellence for members of the ECIA organization. Another top ECIA Award given on Monday went to Mouser's Director of Quality Chuck Amsden, who received the ECIA Distinguished Service Award for his tireless service to the industry's quality issues, including anti-counterfeit parts mitigation. "It is a great honor to be recognized by the ECIA, an organization vital to our industry," Amsden stated.

Mouser's Director of Quality, Chuck Amsden, Honored with ECIA's Distinguished Service Award

Mouser Electronics, Inc., a leading engineering resource and global distributor of semiconductors and electronic components, is pleased to announce that Chuck Amsden, Mouser's Director of Quality, has been honored with the ECIA Distinguished Service Award.


The award is presented annually by the Electronic Components Industry Association "to those individuals who have made significant contributions to the leadership and activities of the electronic components industry and the association."


The ECIA is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the expanding needs and interests of the authorized electronics supply chain. Amsden specifically was cited for his leadership on the SAE G-19AD Committee and for his contributions in drafting AS6496, the newest anti-counterfeiting standard in the electronics industry.
