EPCOS / TDK Varistors & Thermistors
EPCOS / TDK offers various types of varistors and thermistors that provide voltage and noise suppression as well as temperature measurement and compensation in automotive applications.
Multilayer Varistors (MLVs) offer high energy absorption capability, low leakage current, high-temperature versions, stable protection level, bidirectional clamping, and ESD protection up to 25kV. MLVs provide transient overvoltage protection in automobile systems.
SMD Disk Varistors (CU Varistors) feature 12V and 24V supply systems, high energy absorption capability, SMD plastic package, no temperature derating up to 85ºC, RoHS compatibility, suitability for lead-free soldering, UL approval, and PSpice simulation modeling for different pulses.
SMD NTC Thermistors feature multilayer SMD NTC with inner electrodes, nickel barrier termination, excellent long-term aging stability in a high-temperature environment, and superior resistance stability during soldering.
