Insight SiP ISP3010 Smart Ultra-Wide Band BLE 5 Module
Insight SiP ISP3010 Smart Ultra-Wide Band BLE 5 Module combines IEEE802.15.4-2011 Ultra Wide Band (UWB) BLUETOOTH® Low Energy (BLE) 5 in a compact 14.0mm x 14.0mm x 1.5mm package. The ISP3010 Module integrates a multi-band antenna to support the BLE frequency band at 2.4GHz and the UWB frequency band at 6.5GHz. The Module also integrates all passives, crystals, and DC-DC converters to optimize the power consumption for a longer lifetime when operating on batteries.
The BLE part of the Insight SiP ISP4520 is based on the Nordic Semiconductor nRF52832 System-on-Chip. Processing power is provided by the Arm® Cortex®-M4F Processor integrated into the nRF52832 device, with 512K of Flash memory available for advanced applications. The Qorvo DW1000 provides the UWB functionality.
Using a simple interface controlled over the air by Bluetooth, the ISP3010 provides an ideal stand-alone ranging solution for security bubble applications up to 50 meters. For longer-range applications, the ISP3010 Module can be used in conjunction with an external UWB antenna.
