Banner Engineering R95C IO-Link Hubs

Banner Engineering R95C IO-Link Hubs enable the control and monitoring of discrete and/or analog signals by an IO-Link master. This allows the I/O to be located closer to devices, which reduces wiring complexity and time. The I/O types vary, depending on the model, and include NPN, PNP, 4mA to 20mA, and 0 to 10VDC. The hubs are designed to reduce programming at the programmable logic controller (PLC) as well as communication latency between devices. The devices also simplify I/O configurations and lower the number of SKUs needed. Banner Engineering R95C IO-Link Hubs help improve cable routing and increase installation options, and the stackable design enables multiple units to be mounted in an area, resulting in a smaller footprint.

Features

  • Simplifies I/O configuration and reduces SKUs
    • Analog ports can be independently configured as current or voltage
    • Discrete ports can be independently configured as PNP or NPN
  • Reduces programming at PLC as well as communication latency between devices
    • Port mirroring allows for analog or discrete inputs to be mapped to one or more outputs on same device
    • Discrete hubs feature delay modes, including on/off delays and one-shots
  • Improves cable routing and increases installation options
    • Stackable design allows for multiple units to be mounted in an area with a smaller footprint
    • Cable bend-radius issues can be resolved due to side-exit port design
    • Rugged overmolded design meets IP65, IP66, and IP67 and offers more flexibility in machine mounting location
