Coilcraft High Current Inductors
Coilcraft High Current Inductors offer low DC resistance and excellent current handling. These shielded power inductors offer footprints ranging from 8.8mm x 8.5mm up to 27.94mm x 27.94mm and saturation current ratings up to 106A, making them ideal for POL, VRM, VRD, and other high-power applications. Many SER models are qualified to AEC-Q200 Grade 1 standards (-40°C to +125°C), making them suitable for automotive and other high-temperature applications.
SER2211 Series
Coilcraft SER2211 Series power inductors offer seven standard inductance values from 3µH to 47µH. These inductors feature high current carrying capability with Isat ratings up to 27.5A. The SER2211 series has a rugged, flat wire construction, resulting in exceptionally low DC resistance, while its ferrite core provides flat L vs. I characteristics. They measure 22.5mm x 19.2mm x 10.5mm and minimize EMI due to magnetic shielding.
SER1512 Series
The SER1512 Series features high current carrying capability and low DC resistance. The SER1512 components measure 15.4mm x 15.2mm x 12mm and offer an 11.8A to 18.1A maximum DC current range.
SER80xx Series
The SER80xx Series is available in two versions: Low DCR and high lsat. These inductors feature saturation current ratings up to 53A and exceptionally low DC resistance.
SER1052 Series
The SER1052 Series are robust, space-saving, shielded inductors with saturation current ratings up to 25.6A and very low DC resistance. These inductors are AEC-Q200 Grade 3 (-40°C to +85°C) rated.
SER1360 Series
The SER1360 Series feature saturation current ratings up to 43A and exceptionally low DC resistance. These inductors are AEC-Q200 Grade 3 (-40°C to +85°C) rated. The SER1360-602 is specified by TI for the LM3433 LED Driver in applications up to 6A.
SER1390 Series
The SER1390 Series features saturation current ratings up to 13.7A and exceptionally low DC resistance.
SER1400 Series
The SER1400 Series is designed for high-current power applications. This series features specially formed terminations that provide a small footprint and flat wire windings for exceptionally low DCR. Saturation current ratings are up to 105.9A. Versions for high lsat and lrms applications are available. The SER1412 are AEC-Q200 Grade 1 (-40°C to 125°C).
SER1590 Series
The SER1590 Series come in an extremely robust, space-saving package. These inductors feature saturation current ratings up to 50A, exceptionally low DC resistance, and 300Vrms isolation winding to the core. The SER1590 Series is rated at AEC-Q200 Grade 3 (-40°C to +85°C).
SER2000 Series
The SER2000 Series are designed for high current power applications with saturation current ratings up to 100A. These inductors feature flat wire windings that provide exceptionally low DC resistance and are AEC-Q200 Grade 3 (-40°C to +85°C) rated.
SER2900 Series
The SER2900 Series is an improved version of the SER2800 with a third mounting pad for greater stability and board adhesion. Designed for high current, low voltage power supplies, these inductors offer saturation current ratings over 100A and flat wire windings to provide exceptionally low DC resistance. The SER2900 series are AEC-Q200 Grade 3 (-40°C to +85°C) rated.
