GCT SIM Card Connectors
GCT SIM Card Connectors feature various products for nano (4ff), micro (3ff), and mini (2ff) SIM cards that conform to the GSM11.11 standards. The Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) is a small smart card that is designed to store a subscriber's identity, security, authentication, and personal information in a mobile network. These GCT SIM card connectors are fully RoHS and REACH compliant.
Nano SIM Connectors
Nano SIM Connectors (4FF) are available in push-pull and hinged format with six contacts. These connectors feature card detection, full metal variants for enhanced EMI and heat resistance, card stop functionality, and profile heights consisting of 1.35mm and 1.43mm. The Nano SIM connectors are available in 12.3mm x 8.8mm x 0.67mm dimension and 0.67mm thickness.
Micro SIM Connectors
Micro SIM Connectors are available in push-pull and push-push card eject styles. The card insertion cycles are 1,500 in push-push and 5,000 in push-pull. The sockets allow the use of the 15mm x 12mm micro SIM card and are available in 6 and 8 contacts.
Dual-SIM Connectors
Dual-SIM Connectors are designed for pure surface-mount processing without a locating peg. These connectors allow the plugging of two SIM cards into one connector that saves the PCB space. This enables applications using two GSM accounts in one device.
Push-Push SIM Connectors
Push-Push SIM Connectors are designed for micro and mini SIM cards. The card insertion and ejection style include a mechanism to push out the SIM card for applications that require inserting and extracting the card equipment. The Push-Push connectors come with a built-in SIM card detection switch, shielded metallic case, and gold plated contacts that provide 1,500 or 5,000 card insertion cycles.
Hinged SIM Connectors
Hinged SIM Connectors feature 6 or 8 contacts, a robust hinge-slide lock mechanism, a full-flat flipping cover, and guided housing for card alignment. These connectors offer SIM connector profile heights as low as 1.43mm and offer an absorption area for automatic pick-and-place SMT mounting.
Push-Pull SIM Connectors
Push-Pull SIM Connectors feature SIM card detection switch options, card guide and stops in housing, and reliable low-friction contacts with 50mΩ contact resistance only. These connectors provide gold-plated contacts that guarantee a minimum of 5000 mating/unmating cycles and an absorption area for automatic pick-and-place SMT mounting.
