Hammond Manufacturing 1418 Type 4X Stainless Steel & Aluminum Enclosures
Hammond Manufacturing 1418 Series Type 4X Stainless Steel and Aluminum Enclosures provide protection where equipment may be hosed down, become extremely wet, or subject to corrosion. These enclosures can house instruments, electrical junction boxes, terminal wiring enclosures, and electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls. The 1418 N4 AL series is designed per UL 508A and CSA Type 4, 4X, 12, and 13 standards and complies with NEMA Type 4, 4X, 12, and 13 requirements. Both the 1418 N4 SS and 1418 N4 FS SS series meet UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X, and 12 standards and comply with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12, and 13. All of the enclosures comply with IEC 60529 (IP66) specifications.
Hammond Manufacturing 1418 series Type 4X enclosures feature a seamless poured-in-place gasket and smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cutouts, or holes. These Type 4X enclosures come with a bonding stud on the door and an interior grounding stud.
