Hammond Manufacturing HJ & HJ H Type-4, 12 Mild Steel Junction Boxes

Hammond HJ and HJ H Type-4, 12 Mild Steel Junction Boxes are designed for use as instrument enclosures, electrical junction boxes, terminal wiring enclosures, or electric, hydraulic, or pneumatic control housings. HJ H series boxes protect equipment that may be hosed down or become very wet in outdoor applications requiring full-weather protection. HJ H and HJ series boxes feature a body formed from 16- or 14-gauge steel with covers formed from 14-gauge steel. They offer smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cutouts, or holes. Welded brackets are provided for enclosure mounting. HJ series boxes feature a lift-off cover with clamps, while the HJ H series boxes have a continuous hinge door with clamps. These Hammond products meet UL 508 Type 3R, 4, 12, and 13 and CSA Type 3R, 4, 12, and 13 standards and comply with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 12, and 13, JIC EGP-1-1967, and IEC 60529, IP66.
