Ka-Ro Electronics TX8M Computer-on-Module (CoM)

Ka-Ro Electronics TX8M Computer-on-Module (CoM) is designed especially for the NXP i.MX 8M multi-core heterogeneous multimedia processor. This CoM features a 1.6GHz Arm® Cortex®-A53 based NXP i.MX 8M Mini processor, 1GB/2GB DDR3L SDRAM, 4GB eMMC ROM, and 3.3V to 5V power supply. The TX8M CoM offers connectivity options, including 10/100Mbps Ethernet, USB ports, MIPI-CSI CMOS sensor, I2C, SPI, I2S serial audio, PWM, and PCIe. This Ka-Ro CoM runs on the Linux operating system and is suited for markets requiring high-end devices for powerful images and impressive video streaming. Typical applications include automation, medical technology, industrial control, digital signage, and transportation.

The NXP i.MX 8M Mini processor is built using the advanced 14LPC FinFET process technology. This processor combines high-performance computing, enhanced system reliability, power efficiency, and embedded security. This helps drive the growth of streaming multimedia, fast-growing edge node computing, and machine learning applications.
