Molex In-Vehicle USB Smart Charging Modules
Molex In-Vehicle USB Smart Charging Modules are off-the-shelf modules with smart technology to ensure fast battery recharging in a compact, convenient package. The charging modules are standard for many vehicle applications eliminating extra tooling and engineering support costs. The USB smart-charge modules feature an easy-to-read display and lettering, a battery operating voltage range of 9V to 16V, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The components are Automotive-grade USB Type-A on the front with a 10K cycle lifetime.
Molex’s 79540-5015 uses a plastic housing designed to fit an existing rocker panel switch cut out. The 68532-4510, 68532-4461, and 68532-4462 have built-in protective circuitry to protect devices from shorts and over current conditions. The safety protection and engineering assure a fast and effective charge.
