Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP8860 Integrated Buck-Boost Converter
Monolithic Power Systems MP8860 Integrated Buck-Boost Converter is capable of regulating the output voltage across a 2.8V to 22V wide input voltage range with high efficiency. This converter provides fast load transient response and smooth buck-boost mode transient using Constant-on-Time (COT) control in buck mode and constant-off-time control in boost mode. The MP8860 buck-boost converter offers full protection features that include Over-Current Protection (OCP), Over-Voltage Protection (OVP), Under-Voltage Protection (UVP), programmable soft-start, and thermal shutdown.The MP8860 integrated buck-boost converter exhibits 1A output current, 500kHz switching frequency, and comes in a QFN-16 (3mmx3mm)
package. Typical applications include power supplies for motors, personal medical products, industrial systems, buck-boost bus supplies, and DSLR cameras.
