Les processeurs Freescale i.MX 6SoloX comportent un traitement hétérogène avec les noyaux ARM® Cortex®- A9 et Cortex®-M4. Le processeur i.MX 6SoloX est conçu pour offrir aux résidences et aux véhicules sécurisés et connectés des applications de l'Internet des objets (IoT). Le processeur i.MX 6SoloX est le premier processeur ARM utilisant à la fois les cœurs Cortex-A9 et Cortex-M4. Cela offre la flexibilité d'une puce pouvant exécuter un système d'exploitation sophistiqué avec le Cortex-A9 et également fournir la réactivité en temps réel et le contrôle du système grâce au noyau Cortex-M4.
