ODU MEDI-SNAP® with Cable Assembly

ODU MEDI-SNAP® with Cable Assembly is an advanced connector solution with plastic or metal housing options and a push-pull or break-away connection. These circular devices are up to 75% lighter than comparable metal products. The MEDI-SNAP offers high chemical resistance, up to 2000 mating cycles durability, and IP ratings from IP50 to IP67. These devices feature multiple keying and color-coding options, a wide range of contact configurations, and hybrid connector solutions. Also offer a flexible complete system consisting of push‐pull or break‐away connectors, cables with suitable assembly and mechanical or optical coding. The ODU MEDI-SNAP circular connectors are 3.5 in size and are ideal for applications that require a space-saving design. These connectors are well-suited to requirements in medical technology, industrial electronics, digital, and test and measurement applications.

The ODU MEDI-SNAP connectors operate at temperatures ranging from -50°C to a maximum of 120°C, and can even withstand temperatures up to +134°C in the case of autoclavable connectors. The plastic version of ODU MEDI-SNAP® offers maximum safety from up to 4kV AC test voltage to conductive components. Also offers protection from Electrical Discharge (ESD) and protection from electrical shock in an unmated condition.
