Phoenix Contact Serial Device Servers & Gateways
Phoenix Contact Serial Device Servers and Gateways integrate legacy serial devices and buses into modern Ethernet networks. These devices feature an embedded web server for easy startup and configuration, 256-bit AES communication encryption, and -40°C to +70°C operating temperature range. Phoenix Contact Serial Device Servers and Gateways are approved for hazardous areas, making them ideal for industry use. Common industrial data transmission protocols are supported, with various combinations of serial transmission. These combinations include RAW, ASCII, HART, Modbus/RTU, TCP/IP, Modbus/TCP, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP™, and Modbus to EtherNet/IP.The Modbus to EtherNet/IP gateway simplifies migration with an intuitive web-based configuration for mapping Modbus data over EtherNet/IP. This gateway also provides RSLogix integration with a write-to-tag setup for transferring data into the programming environment. The Modbus to EtherNet/IP gateway is available with one, two, or four serial ports, and one or two RJ45 Ethernet ports.
