SparkFun KIT-159498 Radiometric Lepton® Development Kit

SparkFun KIT-159498 Radiometric Lepton® Development Kit includes a breakout as well as the Lepton 2.5 Long-Wave Infra-Red (LWIR) imager. The Radiometric Lepton LWIR module acts as a sort of camera and packs a resolution of 80 × 60 active pixels into a camera body. This module captures infrared radiation input in nominal response wavelength band and gives a uniform thermal image as output. The Lepton LWIR module provides a factory-calibrated temperature value for all 4800pixels in a frame irrespective of the camera temperature with an accuracy of ±5°C.

The KIT-159498 kit offers thermal imaging reliability of FLIR and power to Arduino®, Raspberry Pi®, or any ARM® based development tool. This development kit comes with breakout boards that provide the socket for the Lepton, power supply, 25MHz oscillator, and 100mil header. The KIT-159498 kit also comes in 2 separate parts and needs to be assembled. This development kit incorporates SPI video interface and two-wire I2C serial-control interface.
