Texas Instruments TLV70xx/TLV70xx-Q1 Nano-Power Comparators

Texas Instruments TLV70xx/TLV70xx-Q1 Comparators offer nanoPower and low-voltage in an ultra-small leadless package of 0.8mm x 0.8mm. Standard packages are also provided in 5-pin SC70 and SOT-23, making the TLV70xx/TLV70xx-Q1 ideal for smartphones, smart meters, portable and battery-powered applications with space-critical designs.

Features provided by the devices include a propagation delay of 3µs and a quiescent supply current of 335nA, permitting an excellent combination of speed and power. Power-conscious systems with nanoPower enabled, monitor and respond quickly to fault conditions allowing a fast response time. Well-suited with 3V and 5V systems, the Texas Instruments TLV70xx/TLV70xx-Q1 Comparators offer a convenient operating range of 1.6V to 6.5V. Engineers can use the devices for precision voltage monitoring in harsh, noisy environments where slow-moving input signals must be converted into clean digital outputs. This benefit is afforded by no output phase inversion with overdriven inputs and internal hysteresis.

The TLV703x/TLV703x-Q1 Comparator also incorporates a push-pull output stage capable of sinking and sourcing milliamps of current when controlling an LED or driving a capacitive load. Characterized for level translators and bipolar to single-ended converters, the TLV704x/TLV704x-Q1 Comparator exhibits an open-drain output stage that can be pulled beyond VCC. The Texas Instruments TLV70xx-Q1 devices are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
