Vishay Semiconductors Infrared Transceivers

Vishay Semiconductors Infrared Transceivers are small-profile Infrared Data Association (IrDA) compliant transceivers. These transceivers enable short-distance wireless data communication and support data rates up to 115kbit/s. These transceivers feature transmission distances from 50cm to 1m. The infrared transceivers have a split power supply that allows the emitter to be driven by a separate power supply. They are available in six variants: TFBR4650, TFBS4650, TFBS4652, TFBS4711, TFDU4101, and TFDU4301. The infrared transceivers are lead-free and capable of lead-free processing. Typical applications include data collection, medical, vending, Point-of-Sale (POS), and access control.
