Vishay VOT8x Phototriac Optocouplers

Vishay VOT8x Phototriac Optocouplers consist of a GaAs IRLED optically coupled to a photosensitive zero crossing TRIAC packaged in a compact package. These optocouplers feature a high isolation distance on output. These optocouplers isolate low-voltage logic from 120VAC, 240VAC, and 380VAC lines to control resistive, inductive, or capacitive loads, including motors, solenoids, and high-current thyristors. The VOT8x optocouplers offer 800V high off-state voltage and dV/dt of 1000V/μs to deliver high robustness and noise isolation for home appliances and industrial equipment. Typical applications include power TRIAC drivers in solid-state relays, three-phase AC equipment, motor control, industrial control, and white goods/household equipment.
