C/A Design Wedgelock Card Retainers for Embedded Cooling

C/A Design Wedgelock Card Retainers for Embedded Cooling are used with heat frames and conduction plates to provide the necessary clamping force to ensure good thermal transfer. Wedgelocks offer a high locking force for cold-wall applications. The retainer mounts either to the PCB or a heat frame assembly with rivets or screws and is then inserted into a machined channel of a cold wall within a rugged enclosure. When expanded, the wedgelock clamps the PCB in place, providing resistance to shock and vibration as well as a thermal path for heat transfer between the PCB and the cold wall. C/A Design Wedgelock Card Retainers for Embedded Cooling are available in various profiles and allow for configuration mounting, length, and plating selections.
