Mouser Electronics Funds Educational Grants to Empower Future Engineers
Together with the MISD Education Foundation, Mouser Electronics presents educational grants to teachers at Jerry Knight STEM Academy in Mansfield. The Mouser donation is funding an engineering project on drone technology.

May 16, 2018 - Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction leader empowering innovation, is supporting local teachers with technology grants to enhance science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education for students in Mansfield, Texas.

Each semester, Mouser contributes to the Mansfield Independent School District (MISD) Education Foundation by funding grants for teachers to provide engaging opportunities for students. Previous Mouser-funded grants have supported expanding makerspaces in Mansfield high school libraries and providing robotics kits to help students develop essential skills.  

This year, the MISD Education Foundation is providing the Speed Between the Lines: Coding Drones through Obstacles for the Future grant to fund exciting educational programs at the Jerry Knight STEM Academy. Students at the academy experience hands-on learning with drone technology, exploring concepts related to electronic circuitry, coding, programming and aeronautical engineering.
